Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster who works as an Apple TV reporter. TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting includes roles in MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno.Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno, participating in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. [1] She was an National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated from the university with high grades. [2] Watney has competed in the Miss California USA pageant, which she won as the first runner-up in 2002. Since September 2003, Watney worked for KMPH-TV (FOX 26) in Fresno. She started as a morning traffic reporter and then moved to the weekend sports anchor as well as the sports reporter on weekdays in 2005. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was an Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney also hosted the Ultimate Red Sox Show and Red Sox Report.In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet as a reporter for the LA Galaxy. In November 2012, she was hired by MLB Network. She worked there for nine years. She was the host for Quick Pitch. She was a part of Apple TV+ 2022. 6.
