Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American writer and lawyer who was employed by Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law, New York Law School. Previously she was the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985, she was awarded her master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at the US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent to the NPR program All Things Considered. She was deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 until 2001, she served as a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. From 2001 to 2017 Wiehl was an analyst in the field of law for Fox News.
